Oodles of noodles... or seedlings

I planted 60 tomato seedlings today. Also 40 pepper plants in six varieties , 3 hills each of cucumbers, crenshaw melon, and turban squash. All while listening to Jane Eyre on my mp3 player. Talk about culture!

If I wasn't so tired I'd take a picture of them, all planted nicely in their rows. You've got an imagination, don't you?

  3. You amaze me!!! Please never look at our garden. It is in sad need of Dave being in town again. :) One question... What do you do with such a big harvest??? Are you a canner too??? :)

  4. Yeah, Jen, we do canning too. Last year I made sauce. This year I hope to put up some stewed tomatoes as well. A lot of the peppers will either get dried or frozen... maybe pickled if I learn how to do that. Unfortunately, harvesting and canning are my LEAST favorite parts of gardening. Good thing I have four good workers to help with that! Hey, with Christina and Aubrynn, that makes SIX workers!!!! :)
