Karianne's Good News!!

After a tense week of choir auditions, Karianne found out this morning that she made Ambassadors, Spanish Fork High School's show choir! I received a call late last night from the choir president, informing me of her success, and asking me to help them "kidnap" her for breakfast. At 5:30am, three of the current girls from Ambassadors knocked on our door, and since I've been sleeping on the living room couch, I was right there to let them in. They went into her room, turned on the light, and yelled, "You Made Ambassadors!!!"

Karianne squinted through blinded eyelids. "Wha...?"

"Get up! We're taking you to breakfast!"

"Um. Okay..."

By the time she returned home at 7:30am, she was fully awake and ecstatic. However, her joy was marred by the sad news that her BFF, Christina, didn't make the choir. "I want her to be in it with me so bad!!"

Bittersweet - sometimes it seems like most of life is like that.

  2. Yay for you! Woo Hoo! And can I just say, Lisa you should get knee surgery more often, if it means that you have nothing better to do than post for us adoring readers. :P
A big sorry to Kristina. This is tragic news. Hopefully it will just help develop your wonderful character. But probly if you are like me you would rather be in show choir than develop character. a big hug of consolation.

  5. No I know that you're happy for me. Just you're not happy with me and that ruins my life sometimes. It's not going to be the same without you. So pretty much we are going to have to chill and hang out even more often than we did this year. Plus big bowls of ice cream are good helpers in situations like this :)

  6. HECK YES of course they are :) I rather like ice cream. Also I have had this wondering thought of how much fluid your tear ducts can hold. Because I was SURE that I was going to get dried up last night but it just never happened.
